About Me

My name is Lena Laine.
One of my passions is art and the Bible as cultural heritage, where the destinies of humanity, life’s great questions, and profound meanings intertwine.
I work with people of different nationalities and faiths, so several years ago I immersed myself in studying different religious traditions. While studying Christianity, I noticed that the Bible becomes more accessible when you explore it through masterpieces of world art.
Experiencing art also improves quality of life. New connections emerge and the range of ways we can experience pleasure expands. And what is life without pleasure?
My education combines secular studies in law and psychology with studies at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox University. I built my Bible lectures around masterpieces by renowned painters and sculptors. For me, it is important not simply to pass on knowledge, but to bring the stories to life so that they leave a deep imprint on the memory — like a tattoo on consciousness.
After my lectures, participants do not simply walk through museums and churches — they travel through them, discovering a new world. Every painting or sculpture begins to “speak,” and biblical characters gain life and dimension.
Now all of this experience has been brought together in a unique course featuring more than 5,000 works of art. It is not a knowledge marathon, but a meditation — just 15 minutes of reading a day. And after a year, you will be able to say with confidence: “I know the Bible. I recognize its stories.” Art will begin to speak to you, and ancient stories will come alive. Are you ready to begin this journey?
